A curious ‘Bee attracting’ competition was held in Shaoyang, China, on July 16, 2011. The competitors stood on weighing scales, wearing only a pair of shorts, and by using queen bees they reared, tried to attract other bees onto their bodies. The total weight of the bees was read off from the weighing scale. Don’t try this at home.
